Abbiamo mangiato io e la mia compagna la pizza, aldilà della bontà della stessa abbiamo ricevuto gran cortesia da parte del personale che hanno portato dei cioccolatini per la mia compagna incinta ❤️

We were actually walking to another restaurant when the hostess standing outside La Vela invited us in. However, we decided to stick to our original plan. As luck would have it, the restaurant we were headed to ended up being closed so we returned to La Vela. I’m so glad we did!! Our waiter Vincenzo was friendly & attentive checking in regularly to make sure we were enjoying our meal. And that meal! Oh my goodness! The best spaghetti con pomodoro fresco I’ve ever had (and it’s a favorite go to for me). The steak was cooked perfectly and the buffalo mozzarella was deliciously creamy. We will definitely come back whenever we visit Maiori ❤️

As luck would have it, the restaurant we were headed to ended up being closed so we returned to... La Vela. I’m so glad we did!! Wir waren mit dem Essen, Lasagne, Salat und Filetto, die Manzo super zufrieden. Auch die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Wir hatten nichts auszusetzen, kommen gerne wieder.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ La Vela – Always a Wonderful Experience! We don’t understand the poor reviews — we’ve always had fantastic experiences at La Vela in Maiori! Every time we visit, the food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The seafood and past...a dishes are always spot on, and you can truly taste the quality and care that goes into each plate. Cherry tomatoes and pasta my fav…thanks Angelo 😉 The service has always been warm and welcoming — the staff make you feel like part of the family. The atmosphere is lovely, relaxed, and full of that Amalfi Coast charm that keeps us coming back year after year. Whether it’s lunch by the sea or dinner under the stars, La Vela has never disappointed us. It’s one of our go-to spots in Maiori, and we look forward to every visit! 💙🍋🇮🇹

If you sit back and watch their service style, it’s incredible. You see employees standing at the doors eagerly waiting to get customers in seats. If you make eye contact while walking by, they WILL get you in there. We actually had reservations to ...the place next door, but when we arrived the places shared a walkway (we didn’t know this) the waiter was so courteous, showed us right to a table and our food came out perfect. It wasn’t till the next day when looking at our credit card statement that we realized… we ate at the wrong restaurant! 3 days later we couldn’t do figure out where to eat so we purposely went back and again, food was great, atmosphere was solid and overall experience was fantastic. If you go, you will enjoy, but do yourself a favor and keep an eye on the employees by the door. They will give you a good laugh with how hard they hustle to get you in the door. We loved it!

This entire experience was great! We ordered some pizza, lasagna, and Parma. All of it was fantastic! The service was great as well. The staff were all very friendly!

Ho mangiato uno stupendo piatto di spaghetti alle vongole in questo ristorante che affaccia sul lungomare della deliziosa Maiori. La vista è incantevole ed il servizio è molto curato. Consiglio i piatti di pesce.
