Wonderful spot in Treviso

A friend in Treviso recommended this hotel and so glad he did. fantastic location, amazing room, wonderful breakfast and above all, gracious and lovely host in Viviana. What a delight to be there for 2 days. a Very peaceful and relaxing property. thanks again Viviana! Ciao.

This hotel was a fantastic find and was all thanks to Mr and Mrs Smith. Both Viviana and her son were amazing hosts .

From our arrival our hosts could not do enough to help and nothing was too much trouble They recommended and subsequently arranged restaurants which were fabulous. Our room was beautiful and the breakfast was lovely The position of the hotel was very central in Treviso and everything could be accessed very easily on foot Would highly recommend for couples, families or for a business trip We will definitely stay again.

Treviso… where Tirimisu was invented

I loved Maison Matilda. We spent 4 days in Treviso and the comfortable Maison is a short walk into the old town with all its shops and great foodie scene. Viviana runs the Matilda with wonderful charm and professionalism and her son Emilio drove us around the wine region and to Asolo. I highly recommend the day trip around the Route Prosecco. Treviso is well worth a visit….and Tirimisu was invented in the old town at the superb Le Becherie restaurant.

Treviso… where Tirimisu was invented

I loved Maison Matilda. We spent 4 days in Treviso and the comfortable Maison is a short walk into the old town with all its shops and great foodie scene. Viviana runs the Matilda with wonderful charm and professionalism and her son Emilio drove us ...around the wine region and to Asolo. I highly recommend the day trip around the Route Prosecco. Highly Recommended

We received the most wonderful welcome at Maison Matilda even though it was quite late in the evening. I had exchanged e mails with Viviana before arrival and she is as charming in person as she was in the correspondence. We stayed in La Romantica... - a suite with balcony which was lovely. It is furnished with antique (or at least antique looking) furniture. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable. The bathroom is a really good size and has a good shower. We had Italian breakfast each morning. The house is an old building and is tall and narrow - which means there are stairs to reach your room. This was absolutely no problem for us (in our 60s) but you should be aware. The room was a really good size and there is plenty of space for sitting in the house if you are travelling as a group - or outside space if the weather is warm. The location is excellent. The house, is set on a quiet side street but the walk into the centre of the town takes approximately 5 minutes passing shops, cafes and restaurants, along the way. If you wish to stay here and visit Venice (which I would recommend) the train station is a 10 minute walk away, the railway journey takes about 25 mins and costs €4 each way. A great way to experience the city but escape the crowds. We felt as if we were staying at the house of a friend. We had already planned our activities before we arrived (having travelled to Treviso many times) but Viviana was extremely engaging and helpful and would have provided suggestions of things to do had we required it. Maison Matilda is a lovely place to slow the pace of life for a while, step off the planet and enjoy what Treviso has to offer.

La mejor experiencia en atención personalizada y detalles.

Una hermosa casa típica de la zona, que cuida los aromas, la decoración y el buen gusto. La ubicación exacta para salir al centro de Treviso y estar a unos pasos de todo. La habitación con todo su sabor italiano de hermosa tradición, decorada con est...ilo particular que te hacen sentir en un cuento de época, y a la vez con todas las comodidades que me gustan. Viviana siempre atenta a ofrecerme exactamente lo que yo necesito y de manera excepcional.

Esperienza negativa , non tornerò in questa struttura , il servizio è stato scarso.

Purtroppo è stata un’esperienza negativa Faceva caldo e lasciando balcone aperto le zanzare hanno invaso la camera che non è munita di aria condizionata Nottataccia… viso attaccato dalle noiose zanzare. Appuntamento alle 8 per colazione: alle 7 mi s...veglio preparo il caffè ma è molto poco piacevole ! Poi vorrei fare la doccia ma non c’è acqua calda …. Attendo ma non c’è .. allora provo a telefonare la reception ma nessuno risponde. Alle 7.50 comunico con la proprietaria e vengo rassicurata che in 10-15 min avrò acqua calda .. alle 8.50 non c’è acqua calda … niente doccia stamattina… Decido di lasciare questa struttura e non resto un’altra notte a dormire come pianificato. Nonostante la piacevole e originale struttura , i servizi non sono stati accettabili. Bagno poco praticabile per mancanza di altezze in alcune parti , coperchio del wc rumoroso nell’apertura o chiusura crea noia a chi riposa e finestra troppo piccola e di difficile apertura. Sedie fuori al balcone scomode. Duvet sul letto senza adeguata copertura , copriletto e lenzuola con odore di poco pulito Insomma certamente non tornerò in questa struttura in futuro

La Maison che NON delude!

La Maison Matilda ha una qualità elevata. stanze e aree comuni molto pulite, spaziose e arredate con gusto. La simpatia e la professionalità di Viviana e dello staff sono al Top. Colazione di qualità. La posizione è centrale in una zona tranquilla ...ma strategica per visitare Treviso La consiglio …

Soggiorno Indimenticabile a Treviso Centro

Non ho mai dormito così bene in un Bed and Breakfast, forse è dovuto al fatto dell'accoglienza ricevuta dal team Maison Matilda. Inoltre, la struttura seppur costruita tanti anni fa, una classica residenza borghese, è in perfette condizioni: dal pavi...mento al soffitto. Apprezzato molto il design e l'ambiente unico che caratteristica questa struttura, difficile da trovare.
